I. District Court’s Subject-Matter Jurisdiction This action arose under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (“ERISA”). Therefore, the District Court had subject matter jurisdiction pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 1331 and 29 U.S.C. § 1132(e) & (f).
